  • 1998

    Miguel Rosario, an Engineer, designer and draftsman conceived his 22nd project, the SeaMax M22, an aircraft that would become a worldwide success. From 1998, Rosário dedicated his time and efforts to the development and prototype testing for the SeaMax M22.

  • 2002

    The first M22 aircraft was delivered.

  • 2004

    The United States Federal Aviation Administration - FAA started a new category for General Aviation, called Light-Sport Aircraft - LSA, in which SeaMax was classified.

  • 2005

    SeaMax participated in its first Expedition Ushuaia Gabon NatGeo and second expedition pro Cambodia led by Nicolas Hulot as well as the Aerospace Exhibition, Friedrichshafen, Germany.

  • 2008

    SeaMax M 22 was certified by the USA FAA in the S-LSA mode.

  • 2011

    The AirMax headquarters is relocated from Rio De Janeiro to a more sophisticated facility in Sao Paulo. The company also participated in the Nat Geo’s Expedition Xingu in the same year.

  • 2012

    Seamax was awarded at Sun’nFun, Lakeland, one of the great US aeronautical trade shows, as an "Outstanding Commercial S-LSA”.

  • 2014

    Gilberto Cunha Trivelato, was appointed CEO of the company and started new aircraft development projects.
